The Trout Unlimited Great Smoky Mountain Chapter is proud to present the 4th annual “BATTLE OF GATLINBURG” TROUT TOURNAMENT 2022

This fishing tournament event will feature again this year the “One Fly Royale” competition where skill in catching trout and maintaining your artificial lure is important. The “Battle of Gatlinburg” will have the contestants competing for  $3,000 in cash and prizes as spectators and attendees alike will have an up close and personal look as the competitors demonstrate what for many spectators will be their first time experiencing a trout fishing tournament. The angling competition will be centered in downtown Gatlinburg with the background of our beautiful Great Smoky Mountains framing one of the most unique fishing opportunities in the world.

The “BATTLE OF GATLINBURG 2022” will have an opportunity for everyone from the seasoned angler to those competing for the first time in the designated competition areas. Trout Unlimited is a family friendly organization that emphasizes in addition to fishing, the importance of cold water conservation and protecting our natural resources for generations to follow. Since the founding of Trout Unlimited in 1959 our chapter members have strived through the work of our volunteers, along with community and government agency partnerships to continue our mission “To conserve, protect and restore North America’s coldwater fisheries and their watersheds”.
